REZA ADIB رضا ادیب (Mazar-i-Sharīf, 1982) has lived in exile all his life.
He started out writing freelance for several Afghan newspapers and magazines. He later trained as a journalist at the IRNA news agency in Mashhad and at Fanoos University in Kabul. In 2004, he joined Ayna TV as a news editor. In 2007, he made the move to Noorin TV, where he would be appointed editor-in-chief. During the 2009 elections, he acted as a media advisor to future Afghan president Ashraf Ghani.
Since 2013, Reza has been working as an independent investigative journalist and documentary filmmaker. The films and broadcasts he has developed for a.o. ReFOCUS Media Labs and BBC Panorama, raise pressing questions about the relationship between migration and human rights.
